Vehicle Classes

There are a wide variety of Land Rover vehicle types, e.g. Range Rovers, SWB Land Rovers, 101 Forward Control etc. In order to try and make competitions fair to all, the various types are designated into Classes, so that for instance, a Defender 90 is not competing directly with an 80". The Classes are split into two major divisions for Trials and Competitive Safaris respectively and within these there are two sub divisions for Standard and Modified vehicles..

All vehicles used for CCV Trials, Competitive Safari, Team Recovery, Timed Trials and Point to Point must have an ALRC Competition Vehicle Log Book.   The current list of ARC Log Book Scrutineers is here on the ALRC Website
