For Sale : For sale Land Rover 88” Series One profile Safari car, 3.9 Fuel injected V8 engine, R380 five speed gearbox, LT230 1.66;1 transfer box. AWDC & ALRC legal (has ALRC log book). Fitted with Fox 2.5 pro series 12” travel shocks, these have been custom valved to suit the car. Rear panhard rod suspension fitted with wide bush front radius arms fitted front & rear. Caster corrected front axle, Four pin front & rear diffs, heavy duty Ashcroft half shafts (spare set comes with car). Custom heavy duty propshafts, CDS tubing. Adwest quick ratio steering box fitted, Heavy duty steering rods fitted

Aluminium fuel tank fitted with twin fuel pumps & change over circuit. Twin radiator set up including circulation pump for rear rad, Heater fitted together with demisting system. Provision for carrying spare wheel, track & drag links on car. Drivers seat is adjustable for leg length

Car has been built for easy access for maintenance & repairs, seats are quick release, transmission tunnel is held in place with spring clips Custom exhaust system, Power speed (cost a small fortune) QT seats with removable liners, comes with TRS 3” five point harnesses

The car is well known & competitive in AWDC & ALRC competitions. Notable results: 1st O/A Comp Safari ARC 2000 Slab Common; 2nd O/A Comp Safari ALRC 2006 Manby; 2nd O/A  Comp Safari ALRC 2007 Baden Hall; 4th O/A AWDC 40th anniversary event Walters Arena May 2008

Class victories in AWDC championship  three times; 4th O/A AWDC championship; Many SROC championships; Two first O/A ALRC Team recovery competitions. For Sale : 86” Series One profile Racer/Trials vehicle, ALRC legal with competition logbook. Jon Eales 4.6 V8 larger valve cylinder heads, balanced including flywheel and clutch, ported twin SU inlet manifold, tuned on rolling road to over 190BHP at the wheels, ultra heavy duty AP racing clutch (cost over £500), rev limiter fitted. Road Legal (no tax or MOT at present).

Four pin front and rear differentials, heavy duty 24 spline shafts fitted, 110 CV joints in front axle.

Back axle recently replaced and converted to panhard rod rear suspension (uses front radius arms & front panhard rod on rear end) giving more stability at speed

Front axle recently replaced, inc altering castor angle & fitting heavy duty diff pan

Seating positions adjustable

Windscreen which can be remove for trialling

Internal heater, helps keep the windscreen clear

New custom heavy duty CDS tube prop shafts, never used in anger, done less than one mile

Fitted with four speed Range Rover manual gearbox, LT95, lowest available transfer gearing, fitted with special bearings, manual centre diff lock lever
